Well I *wasn't* until you mentioned it! ha ha
And of course, I almost *said* it when we sang that song in church tonight...
This blog post seems overtly Christmasy, but anyway..
Caught in my noodle-
I was thinking of the joy of the reconciliation and wondered how some groups discount the Christ’s roll as a mediator.
King link - So he is a King (King of the truth), but he is not obviously from around here or he would have said he was the king of his own truth, so where did he come from?
God link – So this Jesus is God and mediator? Mediator - One who mediates, an intercessor, an advocate, according to the New Webster’s Dictionary. It must be something pretty serious to get God involved!
Sacrifice link – So God is saying that it is his blood given for the sacrifice, spooky double meaning. I bet this has some strange connection with the other two links doesn’t it?
The link thing is a nice touch.
