One More Thing

Corduroy dress from Eddie Bauer.
At least two people I know who read this blog have the coloring of the young lady pictured in this post about color value and contrast and this post about colors with some of the coolest links ever and they both would look good in this dress.

So would she in the pictures.

Just wondering, do you like it or not? Why or why not? Is it the idiom?

blah, blah, boring blah.
Must be the idiom.
I like the boots though.
My new uniform for winter is going to be boots & skirts, once I get them back from the cobbler.

I figured you'd say that. For that reason. I hope you're not offended that I said you'd look good in it.

You'll look good in your boots and skirts, though, and you won't be wearing that face.

hehe

I like it, but I'd like it more if it were longer. I like my skirts close to ankle length.

I LOVE that cord dress that Erin linked to! Too bad I'd have to sell my kidneys to buy it.
I didn't hate the first dress, but I wouldn't buy it, either. SO I think it was just a "meh" sort of outfit.

I could totally do that color, but corduroy dresses have a "flattening" effect on my already meager bust. :-/ But, I have a cord skirt that same color that I like to wear w/black knee boots.

i like the dress but not the boots. I suppose I would wear the dress, but would be most happy if it were longer. Ankle length is my favorite. The other thing is the color is a bit too..uhm i don't know... Im not sure why I dont really like the color.

I have boots like that, and I do wear them with a khaki pencil skirt, and a floaty fun black knee length, assymetrical skirt, with varying hem height. I wish I had more longer skirts however, and I really want a long twill? Dusty Green skirt with lots of fabric to make it twirly, floaty even though the fabric is stiff. I also want a long corderoy skirt in brown, can a person with the coloring of the girl on your page wear a brown crayon brown? (think crayola "brown")? It isnt as dark as my hair.

ok ive rambled enough.

oh, and i usually find that dresses in the shirt style dont look right on me, i have a thick waist, not a huge belly but a thick waist. there are only 3 to 5 inches difference between my waist and my hips, and only 3 inches or none between my rib cage and my waist, course my bust adds about 5 inches. but still, i look like i have no waist.
