Today's Outfits
BTW, this shirt and sweater combo is the same one I wore
Christmas Eve, with jeans and my birthday belt.
But will I wear it again tonight? Attending a game night, with the same group we were with for the Thanksgiving Leftovers Party, the big question mark is temperature. How many layers will I need? At the previous event, the wife of the pastor in charge runs just a little colder than I do. Perfect. But I don't think they will be there tonight.
My first choice is actually the outfit pictured back here. And since my hero just informed me that he knows how to work the heat in the fellowship hall, I guess I will wear what I want.
Update: What I want will be the sweater I wore this morning, topped by the jacket pictured here, which my hero just bought for me. We only paid $35 American, though. Washable suede, the XS fits (!), and it's my signature color. Yay!

I like the thin belt around the waist. Happy New Years Eve!
Thanks! I've been pretty happy with that belt; I think I paid 89 cents for it at Salvation Army and it looks good with both of my black dress shoes.
Happy New Years Eve to you, too! (See you next year ... he hee.)
your shoes kill an otherwise chic ensemble
I love that outfit! Very chic. An aside: are you really blogging on a computer that runs on ME??? My last computer did, and it was a fantastic computer until I hooked it up to the internet. There were tons of security holes and several crashes ensued. I don't know how you do it; you must be very patient! I am even more impressed with you now! ;)
anon ~ I'm glad you brought up the shoes. I realize they are a little bit out of style, but I like them. What can I say? I didn't wear them at all last winter and then I started wearing them again. The picture really doesn't do them justice, though, I'll try to post a good picture. They have a lovely shaped heel.
Tessa ~ Strange but true, I really blog with ME. Not for long, though.
I read your blog with Windows 98.
Not for long, though. :)
Very interesting to see that extra curving seam in the shoulder/armscye area of the jacket. Wear it in good health.
Thanks Vildy.
I wondered about the curved seams, but I think it works with my type 8 shape. Last night I was quite comfortable.
